When you are lucky enough to have a yard that is conducive to maintain a garden, where do you store your garden tools? In a garden shed, of course.

In a garden shed, you can have a potting bench with bins to hold the loose soil, fertilizers and shelves to hold seedlings or full gown plants. This can be a magical place where you can feel the soil and smell the moisture and the scents of your growing plants. Truly, a place in which to tell tales to your children and grandchildren that they will never forget. They will tell their children. Their stories will begin: “When I was your age, my grandmother had the most wonderful place and in that place, she told us stories. One of those stores…” Can you not just picture the stories being told, fifty or an hundred years from now?

Okay, back to a garden shed. Not only can you have the story bench, but you also have a place where you can hang your tools on the walls and have shelves designed to handle just what you want and need. You might have grow lights mounted above one or two of the shelves so that your seedlings can have a fast, healthy start before you put them out into the garden.

If you have a riding mover, your garden shed might be large enough so that your private tractor can be driven inside this marvelous shed (now beginning to look like a Tardis of Dr. Who) to keep it clean and out of the weather, especially in the winter.

You can keep all the garden supplies and various tools like rakes and shovels either piled up in the corner or take the time to put pegboard up to hang your tools.

There are so many nice things that you can do with a garden shed. Take your time and enjoy the essence of such a wonder.
